Everyone, I'm being deployed for 1 year...




































...to Ft Worth, TX!!:rock:
That's right, I got 1 year orders to do targeting for pacific command in Ft Worth. My report date is set to be the 26 of October. We are moving out currently and into my parent's house for a couple weeks. Then we move to our new apartment in Ft Worth on the 19th. It'll be nice not living paycheck to paycheck. This means that my wife can buy a car, and more mods for me. I couldnt be happier.

That isn't deployed. You cheater. That's pretty much TDY. I'm getting tired of being here in the sand box, and I just found out that I am going to southern Iraq at the beginning of november, so it'll be a nice change from the northern part. Good luck. 6 more months to go...WHEW!

I'm going to bash you on this...your location is a need to know basis, and I highly recommend you remove your location for security reasons. Sorry, its the intelligence specialist side of me, and troop locations are a need to know basis only.

Anyhow, it does count as deployment, because I'm working for Pacific Command and not my home base. Sweet billet if you ask me.

I gave no exact information. I said nothing that would harm me or anyone else??? It's no secret that the US is occupying ____, Iraq. Anyways I did change what little info I did put out. So I don't know about the navy... but in the army the only thing considered a deployment is... OIF or OEF, or any other special operations which REQUIRE YOU TO CARRY A WEAPON AND BE AWAY FROM YOUR FAMILY. Not stationed in the US living with wife/kids/dog driving a civilian car and sleeping in a house. I hate to bash on a fellow servicemember, but if you are with your family, unarmed and have no IBA or IOTV on, then you're not "deployed". It's called TDY which stands for temporary duty if you didn't know. Again, not bashing, so don't take it the wrong way. But if the Navy is taking care of you thats good. Also, I think your sig is hilarious.
