Im thinking of moving to tennesee, anyone from there?

Im not sure where I want to go, but im open to most places, looking for country style living more or less, not really city living. Nice landscapes, maybe close to water, close to jobs and recreation etc...

Looking for idea's, just doing my research now, but ive been looking at websites, pictures etc...

Anyone got any hook-ups?

Or good websites to help me out, where do you reccomend living.

Nashville, knoxville, memphis, chattanooga ... (outskirts of course)

i live about an hour away from chattanooga, and 15 mins from a state line into tennesee.. if you want to live in the country its definitely a good choice from my experience

Used to live in Sevierville TN. Best place Ive ever been in my life. I will be going back within the next couple of years.

Sevier county includes Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and of course Sevierville. You can live in the country and be in entertainment, city, shopping and Smokey Mountion National Park (most beautiful place) within a few miles.

Cheap living and plenty to do. They have a site in which it tells you pretty much everything they have as far as entertainment and shopping. Not to mention you can jump on I4 to get to Knoxville (for me that would be for work).

I live about 30 miles south of Nashville, within 4 miles of about 15 boat ramps on Percy Priest lake. Great weather, just far enough to be somewhat country, but close enough to everything else.

my aunt lives in fayetteville. I LOVE IT DOWN THERE. people are great, cost of living is lower, property is great. only thing that sucks for me is i can 't understand a damn thing ne one says lol

Thanks for the info so far guys, keep it coming. Id love to get a house down there but I think ill get an apartment for the time being, until I found a decent job.

With all the shiiit I have, it would be hard to keep it all at an apartment complex.

steve, you and your wife should move to tennesee, buy a big house with a very large garage, and let me park my shiit there free of charge.

Ill buy you a few beers a month.. on second thought, buy that house and make sure it has a guest house and ill live there... a pool and jacuzzi would be nice too

Since I will be single again , I might do some traveling, I want to drive to N.Y. and viist my buddy who works for Port Athority, I get paid for being off on LTd ,so I have all the time I need to drive out for awhile. How much do houses go for? We got rid of our 2 story for $315,000. But I was tricked on this single story , my wife had it put in her name and her parents , so I have no attachment to the title, I was confused at the time so basicly I have paid the mortatage for a year on a house thats not mine, I should of looked at the documents, my wife just said don't worry about it I'll take care of it.LOL So she planned this last Nov. when we moved in NICE!. Oh well she doesn't know about almost $50,000 I have stored, thats why I'm not taking it too hard, we haven't slept in the same bed for almost a year and a half, she says its because I snore.LOL I think it is becuase shes been getting side action with her male friend. Oh well I might do some travling I'll let you know so maybe we can meet and I could meet some more CV6 members, that would be cool.

Thanks I will have to write it down and make a plan on my tomtom to plot where I want to go.
