Anyone going to the Knight Rider Festival in Las Vegas next year?

I'm a fan of the 80's Knight Rider car (not the new Mustang version of Knight Rider).

Doing a Google search, I found out that there's going to be a Knight Rider Festival in Las Vegas next year in March.

Is anyone planning to go? Has any of you gone the first Knight Rider Festival which was earlier this year?

I really want to go but I'd have to save my money and fly there. I can't imagine driving there for 8-10 hours, but it would be fun to have a Firebird/Camaro get together.

I wish I could go. That would be a lot fun. I became a Firebird fan because of Knight Rider. They used to display them in Universal Studio. Then when the show ended they started selling the extra cars.

I might go since I'm single now , about a 6 hour drive which I can cut down to about 4 hours so I will keep it in mind.

I also became a Firebird fan because of Knight Rider, also because of Smokey and the Bandit. I loved watching KR back in the day - but it's funny to watch nowadays 'cuz it seems so corny.

I admit Knight Rider turned me into a car nut, but it all began with the Dukes of Hazzard, then Smokey and the Bandit, and Automan. KITT (the Trans AM version) is still my favorite of the TV show cars. I wish they had never changed it.

By the way, did they cancel the Ford version of Knight Rider? I never see it on anymore.

Automan!!!! Oh wow I forgot this '80's show. THis is a computer generated guy that looks like Tron ...who can generate a lambo contach out of no where. That was a fun show. I think it only lasted for 1 season.

Don't forget the Manta Ray in BJ and the Bear.


Yeah, they cancelled that Ford version of Knight Rider. It was horrible. I tried watching it, but I couldn't take it. Acting, plot, and the car was horrible.

I feel old myself for even remembering them. '80's was a very fun decade. Lots of news things that came out and it was Ok to look cool and go to dance party.

Yeah, Automan was a cool show. That's where I fell in love with the lambo Contach. Just like I fell in love with the Firebird in Knight Rider. I'll own a real Contach someday.
