Had it last week. Fully concious and no pain killers.

You can see all three needles that go into my spine. You can also see my first spinal fusion.

The pain was horrific..... but the pictures are really cool.

holy crap, i didnt know they would do that stuff with no pain killer. was pain killer an option?

No pain killer are they nuts!!! I don't wanna be conscious when they do that to me.

Yeah, no pain killers.

The goal of the procedure is to replicate the pain that I am going through.... so they cannot numb or dull the pain. After the procedure they give you something. It wasn't enough. For about 2 days after the procedure it felt like I was punched in the neck. I still feel like crap.

When an injection is done, if the disc is healthy, it will just feel like pressure.

If the disc is damaged and at the root cause of pain, then the procedure will duplicate the pain.

I hope that I will never have to go through that procedure again.
