I wouldnt mind having a modded 360 but I like playing on xbox live so I dont want to endanger getting my account banned.

My buddy who lives in the room next to me has a nice little 360 modding business going on. He charges something like $20 to do it.

The new update for the xbox that will be required soon is to detect unauthorized hardware... including firmware and memory... just to keep in mind... I don't know much about the whole process so I don't know if it'll affect it or not

Yeah, my buddy just gives the games away for free. He has been making a killing.

Most of what we do is just play offline with each other anyways. The joys of living in a dorm...

He charges to mod the xbox so it can play burned games, but then he gives games away for free (mainly to those of us that he knows).

I have been watching prices for consoles keep dropping, it is getting very tempting. I have a 42" LCD tv that I bought a month or two ago, video games would be great on it. Unfortunately I know that I would not get any work done if I had a console, which is a problem seeing as I am writing my thesis this year.

I guess for now I'm just going to limit myself to playing fifa on friends' xboxes.
