Doesn't matter what kind of platform...does anyone know what the fastest all motor 3800 is running...just curious, so far I've gotten a guy named Harry doolittle that ran 11.9
anyone know anyone else? or who this guys was and what was done to his car?
That sounds right, should be some info on his car somewhere, but it wasn't street legal and probably wouldn't be able to dive it without it dying. LNorton ran 12.8 N/A but I don't know if his is street legal.
08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
96' Camaro M5 to A4 conversion, alot of mods . GT35R Turbo full suspension. Built engine
Harry Dolittle did do a 11.7 NA. But he got rid of his car and I forgot which car he's running now but it's a V8.
I have a magazine somewhere where the dad of the guy who started Saleen Co. in Irvine, Calif. is doing low 12 sec. with his '98 Firebird. That was like a long time ago.
We do have an 8sec. TT V6 Firebird, but it's no longer around. Sad, nobody last long with their high po. V6 fbody.
They have Lance on here but not on FTV6, where they are a sponsor also , so I don't know why that is, maybe not verified, don't know. Maybe becuase he blew up 3 engines. J/K harsh one. The 11.7 one I bet his car weighed 2000LBS or less and had all Lexan glass and fiberglass shell from VNF, their fiberglass body weighs 135LBS , the kit is like $4500 or around their but they are bad@ss. So you figure running 4.56's with cam, heads, intakes , aftermarket torque converter, etc. running 13.1 compression using race gas , I could see it done. Like I said not a street car though

you dont know what was done to hit that 11.7 do ya? I know lance hit 12.4 in his car to...
Shirl does. She met the guy at the track.
According to her, he stripped his car down to just the bare essentials. I don't know what work he's done to his engine though. I have an article on him on Pontiac Hi Po Mag. where he debunked our James for being the fastest V6. He claimed to be faster than him. James did call him out I don't know if he ever answered him.

There's a utube video of Norton's Firebird doing 12 sec. I can't seem to find it right now.

James is 12secV6, first to hit the 12's I believe with 100 shot of nitrous.

Hey guys! Yeah, from what I remember, a real cool Firebird. It was white with contigency stickers all over it. It was easily running mid 12's at the time. This was naturally aspirated. It was a GM specialty vehicle. Cammed, heads, gutted... built by the Pontiac Performance Division. Didn't even have an intake on it. I wish I took a pic as I never saw him at Island again after that. I believe the car was running very low 12's (12.1/12.2) when James' article came out.

I am old school - one of the first on this board - was the fastest for a long time and then met the girl of my dreams and got married. I got a new hobbie ;)
If I can get my neck/ back fixed, then expect me back racing.

Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
