Just out of curiosity, what kind of mpg is your 3.4 getting. I average about 26 at 70 without the a/c on. I do mostly highway driving. Probably 90%. Last tank got 27.75. And it has 251,000 miles on it.

I don't have a 3.4, but my 2.8 does get a better gas mileage than my 3.8. Even when it's untuned and the timing is whack. I get 28-32 mpg.

My 3.8 I get 25-28 mpg. If I baby the gas pedal I can get it to 30 mpg. These are all HWY ofcourse.

i've always got 22-23 no matter what i do to the car. i changed my oil, spark plugs, and inflated my tires (which all bring down mpg) at the same time and it still didnt change anything

My 3.8 averages 27-32 on the highway, depending on how bad I'm getting on it. But right around 30 with the cruise on 75 is normal. Also pulled 36 on a 150 mile drive once...with a large-ish-type-hurricane-type tailwind. LOL.

Ya'll have hurricane's up there? J/K. A guy at work had a 98 3.6 m5 that got about 36 on the highway, 30 with his wife driving. I should have bought that car.

              3.8 w/ 3.42s I get 17-20 city. 26-29 highway

My car is heavy as **** too, not helping me in the city. I need to get some crap out of it.

20-23 here. I've been running really rich lately prob 02 senors, even plugged up my cat.

Prob get less than 20 currently, but last time I did the math roughly 20-23.
