  • Damn, time for storage...

Hey everyone, I recently put my cars in storage , hence me not posting any questions recently. I wanted to quick thank all of you who have answered my numerous questions (you know who you are and I do too) over the summer. I had no idea I would get so wrapped up in modding/spending money on a V6 Camaro (my '73 Satellite is jealous), this website and its members, had a lot to do with it  THANKS!

I'll be lurking on this site for the next 4 months and hope to continue reading informative posts by kickin' V6 gear heads like yourselves. So, in the mean time, enjoy the Holidays and stay cool (figuratively). I'll be around here and there as I need to get next seasons shopping list put together :burn:

    Take it easy...

back in August before i went off to school i cleaned the hell outta the camaro, drove it up north, parked it in a shed, put a car cover over it and said goodbye :( a few months later when the weather was nice i pulled it out of storage this past weekend, but in a week, it will be returning to the old shed up north and hibernating for the winter....

Where do you live? (How bad is the weather?)

I garaged mine a month and a half ago. I'm heading home for Thanksgiving on Tuesday, going to pull her out, drive her one last time, and then give her a nice detail before letting her hibernate again.

ahhhh, Canadian humor eh? (they celebrated their Thanksgiving back in 10/12/09) ...I thought you all had snowmobiles for winter driving :p

I live amongst the cornfields of Iowa right now (gotta get back to sunny San Diego) and drive a 4x4 Suburban in the mucky stuff so NO snow tires for my camaro :D
