Summit is quicker about 2 days and its here, but they have a wherehouse here in AZ and usually has it in stock but I do see who has a discount going like when I bought my M.T. drag radials Jegs had a 20% off , so I bought from there, but mostly its Summit or ebay.
08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
96' Camaro M5 to A4 conversion, alot of mods . GT35R Turbo full suspension. Built engine
mainly summit here but i have found a few things from jegs. both have extremely fast shipping which is sweet, but summit has more selections and ever so slightly cheaper prices
What? WHAT? WHAT ARE YOU GUYS TRYING TO TELL ME????? CAN'T ANYONE JUST COME OUT SAY WHICH IS BETTER?????
:D:D:D:D
I can, a 3.8l v6 sponsor that supports these cars. Might be a few dollars more on some things through a 3.8 sponsor but you are encouraging them to continue to R&D and research more into these cars. Buying from JEGS and SUMMIT, companies that are not trying to make parts for our cars just puts money into their v8 loving hands, and leaves our community lacking in new go fast goodies. Meanwhile those that are trying to help the 3.8 community fizzle out and go under or walk away. Leaving us still wanting items that will never be made.

I didn't know you were a sponsor...
2002 SOM Camaro- Sold
2006 S60- Sold
2000 Cherokee- The desert whip
not just me, but the other 3.8 companies as well is what I am referring too. All the 3.8 vendors in general should be supported in this community over the big two, as that's who gets the parts made and rolling and these cars going faster.
but yes I am also one of those vendors (www.gvperformance.com) who is trying to help the 3.8 crowd out along with zzp, abbott, intense-racing, 3800performance, 60* inclusive, etc.
Jegs. Everything they ship comes next day and it's free. After a month of driving on my new nitto 555 one formed it problem.. It kept goin flat on me, some problem with the bead. Jegs sent me a new one completely free before I even sent them back the old one. I did send them back the old one asap since they were so prompt about sending me a new one. Best customer service experience I've ever had.

Ok enough of my rant

I understand what you are saying, but you need to keep in mind the sponsors generally don't sell "generic" nuts and bolts parts like the diff, and gears I bought. They offer specialized services, and custom made parts, or high performance racing parts. I need standard OEM replacement quality parts. Places like Thunder Racing, and Clear Image don't even list the Eaton TrueTrac. And your own business, GV Performance, although it does list Richmond gears, does not list the Eaton TrueTrac or install kit. So you expect me to order gears from you, and the other parts from someone else? Extra dollars spent on shipping and handling expenses that are not helping to promote R&D of our vehicles.
If I wanted, i could have had the local garage order the parts from his supplier and paid list prices. I would have been "supporting" a local garage to the tune of a 80% markup. That's too much for me, so I'll bring my own parts.
Times are tough. Money is tight. I need to maximize my dollars buying potential.

I can get more than what is on the site. Also I have motive and richmond gears avail, auburn diffs, and install kits. ;) Just a PM away. True I cannot get the eaton diff, but there are other options. Don't take it the wrong way, I was attacking you, just talking about the 3.8 crowd in general. You scratch sponsors backs, they will scratch yours type of deal.
Also if a local shop is marking up their items 80% they seriously have issues, lol.

What I meant by my post is that you called yourself a sponsor, but if I am not mistaken, you AREN'T a sponsor of this site.
So you are asking people to support you, but aside from putting out products for our cars, you aren't REALLY "sponsoring" this community. Simply advertising...

He's a sponsor to this community (3.8 community), just not a sponsor on this forum.
