I sponsor the v6 boards that take sponsors...

Also I am trying to help the community out. I worked with a machine shop and made powerdyne brackets for the 3.8s. The demand fizzled out after the initial 10 kits sold, so I have not had another batch made. Now I am working on a procharger kit because people want more power than the powerdyne provides but don't want a turbo. I also looked into the holden intakes for a intake swap, including trying it on my car. So no I am not simply advertising anything. I have other projects that I am looking into as well, but those I would like to not release right now.

So I am offended that you think I am simply advertising, I am advertising nothing, otherwise I wouldn't list all the other 3.8 companies. Us smaller guys are trying to help out but if you guys feel that way then I guess we can move on to cars and people that want us to help them out.

edit: I also know of another 3.8 company that is working on new turbo kits for the fbody cars. Talked to the owner personally about it a couple months ago. It is the winter project for the company. And no it is not FFF.

and my initial post "I can, a 3.8 sponsor..." was in response to the OPs question of which is better and not stating me personally, but any 3.8 company that works with the 3.8 crowd would be the better choice.

        Re: Summit or Jegs?

I have bought from Travis many times, ships quick and has comparable prices to the other vendors, so I would say hes a sponsor. If the title was worded different as who's the best 3.8 sponser is hes in my top 3 for getting parts, I have had trouble with Fullthrrottle performance a few times, Intene and ZZP. haven't had any problems with Grand Valley and I spend alot on parts. Good luck with your buisness Travis , I would like yo know before I order from the other sites can you get the J.E. 9:9.1 forged pistons and all the clev.77 bearings, also will be looking for a diffferent cam a N/A and likes FI like my VS cam? Should be about $2200-2300 worth of parts going in a L26, I have evrything else, I didn't know you could get other parts. Thanks Steve, sorry about the thread jack, PM me Travis, but Grand Valley is very good store. I totaly forgot about you selling parts Travis, my meds take a big affect on my memory. I just spent $200 in Royal purple oil for my car , case of tranny fluid and gear oil. Sh!t expensive.

          Re: Summit or Jegs?

i like jegs more than summit, but i have only bought from summit, so i cant comment on jegs.

summit has been great, my stuff usually arrives the next day i order it. They were about $1 cheaper on most things (like that really matters).

i have no exp with jegs, but summit was awesome, and their store is pretty cool also

It would be cool if we could get some banners up again where you can click on like for Travis's site, and the other 3.8 sites. ZZP, FTPP, and Intense, I order from, ZZP the most since they have alot of newer 3.8 stuff.

                Re: Summit or Jegs?

Usually... I find the part number and google it. Sometimes find smaller not so well known companies. I ended up finding a small speed shop that sold me my spec clutch for like $50 less then anywhere else I found.
