    Hah, we've been in the 20's and 30's for awhile here, actually got a break and saw the 50's yesterday. But we're not anything close to what you'll see in WI. No lake effect snow here :)

    And the lift on the cam with the rockers will be:
    212º/216º .556"/.546" 113º LSA (Profile with 1.7 ratio rockers)

    Oh yeah, heads are milled 0.020" and using thinner head gaskets to try and get 10.0:1 static compression ratio.

                ah sorry, ballermaro took his girl and jeep on a wintery cruise last week and he told us he'd post some pictures he took, but he hasn't yet. it was totally off topic

                            Actually, the build is pretty straight forward.

                            60*Inclusive did the LIM and Heads with just a basic hand porting. He did flowbench them before and after, got a nice gain from mid to top end even for just a basic port job. He also tapped the heads for the different stud setup for the Yella Terra rockers, and milled the valve guides to allow for 0.600" of lift as the Intense S1X cam with the 1.7's will surpass the normal limits of the stock heads.

                            Had the heads milled 0.020" and using I think 0.045" MLS gaskets to try and bump the compression up some more.

                            I'm running the S1X because it was available at a really good price, and initially I just wanted a cam (which changed after pulling the valve covers). I also wanted to see how it performed. Tim King ran an S1X w/ 1.7's in his Firebird but I never found any results. Which is a big thing in the V6 community, very little hard line results and comparisons.

                            Going to be strictly NA, no nitrous. I don't want to pop my DD car, cause that's just foolish.

                            It was just a budget build initially, but the downtime has allowed me to build some funding for other supporting mods that and necessity of getting new or updated parts to replace worn or broken stuff I find over the course of the past few months.
