I sold my 3.4 with 214,000 kms (130k miles) just over a year ago for $4000 in Montreal. It was in pretty good condition tho.

There's a lot involved in importing a vehicle into Canada unless you pay a company to do it and they aren't cheap...there are all kinds of taxes, levies, customs and brokerage charges, inspection fees and modifications required if you're bringing a car across the border...not worth it for the vast majority of ppl. But I do agree with you on likely picking up my next car south of the border if there's a chance to save anything more than $5000, especially if the dollar stays near parity.

wow you got 4gs for it eh?...if you just go over and purchase the vehicle over there and come back I think you cut out brokerage fees and crap...but you have to do the running around yourself...the same way you can avoid brokerage fees through UPS, but you have to do all the work, and signing of papers and crap (which really isnt alot)
