Every Colts fan is pissed. The only three people that thought it was an excellent idea to pull the starters was Caldwell, Polian, and Irsay.

Yesterdays game would have been competitive if they had played the starters more than 1 quarter.

But they didn't and the 6-10 Bills blew them out:)

No it wouldn't have. The 6-10 bills would have been 5-11 if the starters were in the game for the Colts. But again, we put Painter in there, and he was good for a few turnovers.

yeah i dont think that leaving payton in there would have gotten him hurt. they should have gone for 19-0...no guts no glory

I said I was pissed last week, and in hindsight, its was probably a better idea to take them out. Especially when you see people like Wes Welker get hurt, which is SERIOUSLY going to be a problem for the pats. They NEED Welker at this point in the season, they simply don't have the time to prepare and work with another receiver before the start of the playoffs. So all in all, I guess it was a better call to take Peyton and the rest of the starters out of the game.

Might I also remind you, that with as much snow as there was at the Buffalo game, its a football game that is up in the air. It was the type of game that would piss off even the best handicappers. It will turn a 14-1 team into a team that is just as bad as a 5-10 team.

It snowed a TON, we took our starters out early, and put Painter on the field. the snow in itself makes it a toss-up game, and with NO starters in at all, you're putting people out on the field that have less than 60 minutes game time the whole season. I can be honest when I say I put no faith in most of the bench for the Colts, but propping up Buffalo is laughable. They are a terrible team, lucky to have gotten the record they did. They beat the Colts because the Colts simply didn't give a **** to win or lose at that point, they just showed up because the NFL said so. Don't get me wrong, I am a Bucs fan as well, and they have showed that their coaching is too young, their team is too young to be competitive, not to mention they've been switching out players left and right in all positions. The Bucs are not a good team right now, not in the least. But I can admit that. But in no way, shape, or form could I honestly say that the Bills had a hope in the world of making the playoffs, their destiny would have been out of their hands early in race for the playoffs. They are an incomplete team, in disarray, without any true leadership. Buffalo is going nowhere for a LONG time. Suck it up, and admit it.

Not true,we had 21 guys on IR again this year fired our OC our HC and still won 6 games.

This team will make the playoffs next year.

I'm not a Colts fan, but I like watching Peyton Manning... but I still don't think you take your starters out when you're 14-0... I understand that the ultimate goal is to win a superbowl and that's why they sat 'em, but I feel if you have the chance to make history, you go for it... Most people have trouble naming the Superbowl winners from 10 years ago, but everyone knows who won it in '72... As a Steelers fan, I can't imagine Tomlin sitting a healthy Ben at the end of a season if the Steelers are 14-0, and if he gets hurt, I would be much less upset than if he just didn't play him, or other starters...

Plus if the Colts beat the Jets, my Steelers have a better chance of making the playoffs...

All that said, it is the Colts' right to sit their players, and if the Steelers hadn't lost to some of the worst teams in the league we'd be in the playoffs right now, and that has nothing to do with other teams sitting their starters... I'm rooting for either the Saints or Minnesota this year... haven't made my mind up yet...

I bet now that Wes Welker is out for the playoffs, there will be alot of people thinking twice about starting everyone when you have things locked up.
