You could have the Droid, it was made for real men. 16GB for data or music storage if you're into that.
You could have the fancy HTC Eris, I'll say it was made for women.

Or... wait for Googles Nexus One. Sure it's hella expensive ( $500 ) and astonishingly faster than Droid. It comes unlocked meaning you have a choice of telecom carriers. Google is becoming a major player in transforming the cellpone marketing game again to benefit you, the consumer.

Why not start the new year with a shiny Nexus One? This is what I'm purchasing soon. Release date was yesterday.

That felt like an advertisement. Or some kind of a sales pitch. :spank:

Naaa, the only reason why I'm considering either one is cause they're gonna be cheap for me. And I've had a low tech yet reliable phone for a long time. Thanks for that heads up on the droid vs eris video, i'm gonna go check it out.

My brother stopped by this afternoon, and he began talking about his HTC. He liked it except that he manages a few crews for an asphalt company and keeps his phone in his shirt or jacket pocket. With the HTC, his touch-screen was staying on with the slightest touch and running down his battery. He has to make sure the LCD has hibernated before he puts it in his pocket. Other than that, he liked it.

I work in an environment where we are on the phone a lot, texting constantly, and mobile e-mail never stops. My co-workers have an iphone, Palm Pre, HTC Pro Touch 2, and a Moto Q.

My Blackberry is the only phone that can go the entire day without the battery going dead. When we leave work after a REALLY busy day my battery is at about 60% and all of them have their phone off because the battery died.

What good is a phone if you can't use the features due to poor battery life???

That is why Blackberry is for me...
