Can we PLEASE just get back to appreciating the OP on this???
Kristen, I'm very happy for you, Gabriel and *cough*cough* Shaun. Whenever you'd like to move on though, I'll be waiting with open arms and a hefty bank account.
Love you Shaun!!!! :wavey:
This was a 'somewhat' happy post. Let keep it there...please.
No comments yet on my "pewter" post?? WOW!
Maybe we can trade painting and welding lessons or something...
My wife is DEFINITELY the bread winner... we haven't started our family yet but in prep, I got rid of my toys and got the family car too. My goal is when I get out of school is break my back above and beyond so when we have a kid my wife can cut here work down to part time. Which she can do easily. Then later when our kid is old enough to be in school/daycare stuff she will go back to full time.
Luckily I am entering a career where Overtime is permitted and seems to be encouraged.
I can say though, that whole having a ****ty day and coming home and your mood completely changes... That is the greatest thing a good dog is for. Can't say how many bad days I had at work and my mood completely flipped just seeing a happy dog. :)
my job is a 3 person job that is done by only me. no way to cut it back to part time. when i was pregnant i was working 12 hour days just to get everythign done before i went on leave.
but they know, now that i have a kid, come 3o'clock my out of here.
