Im Gonna Be a Dad!

Yup, we just got back from our first appointment and its official. We started trying back in November then she took a test right after Christmas that was positive, but we werent saying anything until we had confirmation from an OBGYN. She's 8 weeks along as of today and the projected birthday is September 2nd 2010.

Im uber excited about entering fatherhood. Naturally I wanted a boy first, but after seeing the ultrasound I was very humbled and dont have a preference...I just want a healthy baby 7 months from now.

I know the ultrasound isnt not much to look at right now, but here is my future son/daughter (about the size of a gummy bear):

any who...yesterday was 1 year ago that i found out about gabriel! time goes too fast. now he's 3 months and 2 weeks , walking, teething, and yelling MAMAMAMAMMAMAMA.

if you end up with a girl we can talk about wedding plans later :)

Congratulations..!!! Being a parent changes your entire life. It puts everything into a different perspective. There is nothing that I would not do for my wife and 2 sons.

Heck no! Thats why I went out of my way to buy a 4 door truck :D

And yes we were a bit surprised that it happened so fast, but hey, what can I say? haha

Oh, FYI - Car seats do fit nicely in the back seat of an F-body...

Speaking of car seats, I told my wife that we are going to get the Simpson Racing car seat when he/she is big enough to fit in it :tup:
