Hey guys, just thought Id share a few pictures both car related and just of mexico. I went on a service learning immersion through my university to Cuernavaca,
Mexico located way up in the mountains. Just thought Id share with you how beautiful of a country it is and how its important to be grateful for what we all have. It was one hell of a trip!
(sorry about the big pictures!)
I personally would be scared to travel though, I'm scurred of new places haha.
I'm your standard 5'10, 185LB, White, Christian, American, 22 year old guy. I have probably been to 20+ countries (and lived in 4 different countries for a total of 13+ years). Most of my recent travel has been to the Middle East... (Oman, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Qatar, UAE) and I have never had any issues. Whenever you travel, if you show an open mind you will be greeted with open arms.
For anyone who likes traveling or reading, I suggest checking out Mark Twain's "The Innocents Abroad." It is a long, difficult read, but well worth it if you enjoy either of the two activities.
And for anyone looking for places to travel, check out tripadvisor.com. They have loads of different forums where "experts" are eager to answer questions about locations, different types of travel, etc.
2002 SOM Camaro- Sold
2006 S60- Sold
2000 Cherokee- The desert whip
i noticed when i was in mexico that every other car was a old bug. must be where they go to die
Actually, In mexico they still produced the "old bugs" (old body style) up until 2003 I believe. So what looks like an old car could have actually been a new car, in mexico. They were really cheap, like 5-6k base.
Traveling is fun, aint it? It is truly amazing what you can learn about yourself by learning about others. Glad you had a good time.

Nice job on the PICS. It's like looking at National Geographic.
I've travel as many countries as you before I was married. I've gone to Asia, Europe, S. America, and Canada. The places I haven't been to are the middle east, Africa, Australia. We were going to go to Israel and Egypt before, but it never manifested. I get lots of discount from my dad's work.
My wife and I did the same too. Once a year we would chose a place to go and spend a week there. But we haven't done that lately.
Mexico was great. The people there are very nice, compare to some of the Mexicans over here. We got invited to a wedding a couple of years ago and my wife and I went. It was a lot of fun and we were treated like family. Yeah, I can speak broken spanish.
I’m new. I actually don’t own a Camaro or firebird. I do have a 2000 Camaro 3.8 fly by throttle and 4l60e. This is installed in a 1980 Triumph TR7...
