So last night my engine somehow just accelerated on its own and was unable to stop and ended up hitting a wall. Anyone know if the insurance company will total it? This morning I started the car again to try to move it and it just revs up on its own.

definitely totalled... mine had less damage, less miles and the airbags didnt go off and they totalled it...

So will the ins. co. give me retail value for it? If so is it worth it to buy back and part it out? I've also got a 2000 V6 Firebird that I can swap everything into.

My wife totaled her car about two weeks ago. Be careful when using KBB to valuate your car. Our KBB was like $3k, but we got $5k based on the NADA value, and how much the replacement value on the car was.
Do an autotrader search for that car, with that mileage and figure you can ask the insurance company for around what those are priced.
Well i got the call today that it is being totaled and it will take them a couple of days to determine the value. Will aftermarket mods add to the value of the car?
