Okay, so I get a kick out of when girls talk about cars when they have no idea what they are talking about (sorry kristen, you can be excluded when I say girls in this one)

This girl ive been talking to, bought a brand new car recently.

she was telling that "her old one wasnt working very good anymore." and "when she tried to start it, it wouldnt start because the RMP's wouldnt go past 0..."



Also, have a buddy (guy) that is a moron when it comes to anything automobile related.

He tells me heneeds to replace the windshield wiper motor because his washer sprayers arent working.. Its the middle of winter, and the reservoir tank is frozen!

Same guy....

I bought a diesel truck recently, its an older one I picked up for next to nothing, runs great but she doesnt like to start in the cold cuz the glow plugs need to be replaced. He says we'll get it running great, some new spark plugs, wires and a gas filter and it should run perfect.



Sometimes I wonder about people, Other times I just laugh!

One of my friends got a text from this one friend of mine.
She said, "my car says I have low transmission fluid, what does that mean?"
Friends response "it means you need to get more transmission fluid"
Her reply "where does that go? Like by the muffler?"

Same girl to same friend later..
I can't remember exactly what she asked but my friend just said to look it up in the owner's manual.
She asked, "where's that at?"
He said, "its probably in the glove box"
Her reply, "whats a glove box?" :ROFL:
He said "that storage compartment by the passengers legs"
Her "ooohhh"

This girl I was seeing a few months ago... I was hanging out with her mostly on the weekends, I was picking her up and taking her out. I was in my 05 GMC 2500HD, It's a black crew cab diesel, with tinted windows, a huge stack, 20" wheels and I always kept it spotless, Had navigation and a few goodies inside.
Typical girl never really made any comments about it other than "so this is your truck" etc..

After I sold the truck, I bought a beater 97 Ford ranger, Single cab, short bed.. Completely stock. Bought it for a grand to flip in a few months. Went and picked her up, was driving and asked her what she thought of my sweet new ride... "Oh, I didnt even notice you got a new truck"
Im like seriously??

kid was trying to convince me his dually truck was faster then the camaro...he told me that he could carry 18 truck tires and still do 140 km/h on the highway...I asked him what that had to do with anything...he was trying to convince me that even with all that weight he could still do 140...I said so? how long does it take you to get to 140? Strap a trailer to the back of my car with 18 truck wheels and I can still do 140 to, that has nothing to do with how fast you car is....


Actually, quite a few people I talk to when they talk about how fast a car is they look at there honda speedos which go to 260km/h then look at mine which goes to 200...Oh my honda is faster then your car...I can do 260... funny how they never wanna race for cash though :P

Or the other one I love is someone takes a look at my car and sees it auto, and there stock civic is manual...No no no...my car (civic) is faster then you, I'm stick!....uh ok? stick with 90 hp... "Ya but stick is always faster then auto"...Any time Ive ever tried to argue this its like talking to a brick wall...never gets me anywhere.....

I was reading to try and find out about what things you "have" to tell your insurance company the other day...I wanted to know for mods because I hear if they come out and your car is modded they can refuse to pay out anything to anyone.

so in my reading, I found articles saying that if your car is modded for "performance" then you are automatically placed in the highest risk category and may not even be eligable for insurance. So I was thinking that was pretty gay...I read a little further to find out why and they say that, if your car is modded for performance, then that means you will most likely drive faster on the road, because you are now modded to do over the speed limit...hmm...modded to do over the speed limit eh?:rolleyes:

I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by fleeing the scene of an accident.

I just filled up my car... Now its worth 50 bucks.
