i was at a car show a few years back with my buddy and we talked to this d-bag with what he claimed to be a stage 2 rousch mustang (which was clearly a normal gt with a body kit and side exhaust to anyone that had any idea what a rousch was)...we heard him talking to this guy with an RX-8 --- which everyone knows has the renesis rotary engine --- and he proceeded to ask the mazda guy, "hey man how many cylinders is that thing?"
my friend told me a piece of his engine block blew off his car (hyundai pos) and i was like holy crap i see it..so he showed me. his cat had a hole in it.
had a guy in a van ask me one day if my car was a v6 after following me from the highway. keep in mind my exhuast is dumped at the axle and clearly doesnt sound like a v6.
current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it
The biggest insult to a Firebird driver is to call his car a Camaro.
As far as funny comments:
A girl from Miami was complaining how cold it was while driving to work during the recent cold spell. Another co-worker had to explain to her how to make the car's heater work.
Her: "Oh, so THAT's why you can make the air conditioning go out on the floor!"
To be fair, you can't really blame her too much for not knowing, we don't get that much need for the heater down here.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.
2008 Saturn Sky Red Line - Midnight Blue Pewter Mafia - 2000 Firebird - SOLD CENTRAL FLORIDA KNIGHTS!!!!!!! FLORIDA STATE SEMINOLES!!!!!!!
I get this a lot: "That's the BEST looking CAMARO I've ever seen."
I got tired of corrected them so I just say, "Thank You...Chebie all the way."
I used to get this all the time in my bird
Int he fiero, I did have 1 time while at krogers where some chics asked me if my g/f's fiero was a ferrari. I've never had anyone ask me in my old one
Car expresses who you are. If you have a ****ty car, you must be a ****ty person;)

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/995979
eh, I think neon lights are pretty cool...just not under these cars, or any muscle car for that matter...
people who think that f bodies are muscle cars
just kidding :p
but there are tons of things that i see stupid people do.. like the one dude who sucked up sand through his intake to port and polish the car (although im not sure if that was real or not)
i once saw a s2000 with a "heartbeat of america" sticker on it
at a carshow with my brother the security gaurd asked how did i ever afford a ferrari and then asked my brother who has a civic hatch how fast was his fit. then asked another guy who had a vw gti how his fit handled. there was so much loling after that
At car shows in my V6 when I had the hood open I would get the older group of 99-04 Mustang GT guys who use to always talk crap about my car. The best line was " Man it looks like you are missing something in front of your engine. Thats what it is 2 cylinders!!" They pretty much stopped making fun of my car when I added some nitrous and really respected and drooled over my car when I did the Built motor with nitrous.
The one guy Billy had a 00 Supercharged GT That dynoed 360 rwhp on 12 lbs of boost. My V6 made 370 rwhp so that use to really piss him off. He use to always display his dyno sheets on his car during shows so I would always have a copy of mine on hand and put it next to his on his car with V6 Firebird written in bold letters!! Good times!!
Jeff ..
1998 Firebird.. Built 3.8 with a 125 shot.. 370rwhp,415rwtq.. stock tune!! sold
This kid at the KFC drivethrough always asks me questions about my car. He found out I had 2 Camaros tonight. He said, "Isn't the gas mileage bad with 2 Camaros?" I didn't know what to say. Maybe with 3 it'd be really bad?
Anyways, I said, "No, they both have just a v6" He goes, "Whoa that sounds like an 8!" I replied with, "It just has a crappy flowmaster" It's actually a dynomax now but I forgot, and I could tell he really wouldn't know the difference anyways. I was nice to him because, I was there at one point too.
Hey guys. For starters I’ve always been a big car guy, I love all types of cars and can appreciate all types of engineering. I’ve always been a Chevy...
