Us giving and giving and trying to solve problems in other coutnries don't help. Hell we help Haiti but did the bother to help us when we had all those hurricanes destroy louisiana? Hell no. Screw all these people. We are adopting Haitians when we have kids here that need to be adopted. I am tired of seeing the way Americans are operating. I mean to get welfare people need to be able to pass a drug test at least. We give and give but do we ever recieve?

Hope I didn't piss anyone off but this is my view.

Terrible quiz. The questions are worded in a way that it makes it very easy to end up libertarian. Take the political compass quiz if you actually want to figure out where you stand.

fiscally and socially conservative = conservative (Republican)

fiscally and socially liberal = Liberal (Democrat)


Think about - most of us are always having to choose "between the lesser of two evils". The present two major parties, DO NOT represent the majority.

Just took that one and I still end up libertarian... And it is worded to be one sided too... I was even closer to a commie and still got libertarian?!

Questions should be; would you rather have it this way or that way or nither...

I think that thing will not produce a "liberal or "conservative" outcome, except maybe in one particular combination for each. I can make it produce "libertarian" with lots of combinations, "centrist" with several combinations and even "statist."

In otehr words, its rigged to produce the result they want.

As far as what Robert put in the first post, I agree.

1. Cash for Clunkers (This one supported the Japanese and European Car Markets moreso than the American's)

2. War escalation in Afghanistan (I support Obama on this one)

3. Giant government health care expansion bill (I say fix the problem within before even looking at this)

4. Post office loses money hand over fist (Not a surprise at all)

5. Stimulus package (It's a complete Failure)

6. Expansion of "state secrets" doctrine (?)

7. Big increase in unemployment (In my state, Calif., the real unemployment is 20% and not 12% according to an independant study and survey that is not sponsored by the liberal medias or Demos. So unemployment is much higher than we think. 1 out of 5 Americans are unemployed)

8. "Bailout" Geithner as Treasury Secretary (Disagree with this one, but the Demos. pushed for it and some Repub. supported it)

9. Skyrocketing federal spending (This will not help the recession at all)

10. Huge federal deficits (it's in the trillions)




Top 10 disasters of the 2001-2008 Bush administration:

1. Cash for Car Companies (bad move for Bush, but the Demos. supported it, esp. Obama)

2. War in Iraq (I disagreed with it in the beginning, but I disagree even more on bailing out early. That's just too irresponsible)

3. Giant Medicare expansion bill (It was a waste as the expense on Medicare continues to skyrocket. This needs to be under control)

4. Post office loses money hand over fist (?)

5. Stimulus "rebate" checks (Atleast it went to the people)

6. PATRIOT Act (Funny, Demos. who complained about it during Bush's term now supports it)

7. Big increase in unemployment (It was only 6% when Bush left, now it's twice that)

8. "Bailout" Paulson as Treasury Secretary (Big Mistake. The people should've have been bailed out and not the banks who acted irresponsively, but the Demos. pushed for it and Obama supported it big time. Bush should've followed his instinct instead of caving in)

9. Skyrocketing federal spending (Bush made a mistake here. With the tax cut the federal spending should have been trimmed)

10. Huge federal deficits (800 billion. Not as big as what Obama created, yes, it's still a deficit)
