Deep fried twinkies?

This sounds just plain freaky.

I had first heard of it on the food network.... and I finally had one this past weekend. My friends and I try and visit lots of the restaurants shown on food network.

OMG..... this is a must have! I will post a picture of it soon. They take a twinkie, dip it in some batter, and then fry it up. I was shocked at how damn good it was. If you ever have the chance, have one!.

My buddy had the deep fried snickers..... he loved it!

I would be extremely skeptical of the deep fried pizza..... that is just plain weird!

My wife had the deep fried bananna.... I tried it and didn't like it.

I'm english so this place was just plain awesome for me. I had shepards pie and shared the deep fried twinkie and the english port trifle.

If that was really an English restaurant they would have had lots of Chinese and Indian food, haha.

i deep fry stuff all of the time, i have done almost everything i could think of.. the snickers was pretty good

the best thing i had was a cheese filled hamburger coated in flour... WOW

make some mac n cheese
wrap little balls of it up in plastic wrap and freeze them
once frozen, unwrap, coat in batter and deep fry
