It was a kick *** movie! i thought it was awesome tho i had two complaints; it was a bit goory at times (scalping) and they should have showed more of brad pit instead of the theatre lady, it does get a little slow at times

saw it in theatres, so i understand where you're coming from, but it gets good!
there's a lot of drawn out scenes, and definitely too much french dialogue, but it comes together. it's odd for a tarantino movie, bc he's usually all about the blood and action, so it took some patience. but anytime brad pitt is on screen, it's hilarious and has plenty to keep you entertained. i just wished it had more of him and the basterds doing their thing like robby said ^.
dont give up on it though, hang in there and see what you think.
So, what happens in the last 2 minutes? Got to the point where the German guy was surrendering to Brad Pitt at the border, and the DVD wouldn't play anymore. Stupid Redbox.
It had some funny parts but overall I thought it was slow and boring also.

I didn't like it. Too much hype before seeing it and when I saw it it wasn't all that. It wasn't realistic. Com'on, the Nazis were almost portrayed as brainless morons.
I saw Edge of Darkness this weekend and that movie was awesome. One complain though, the movie was portrayed as an action flick according to the commercials, but it was actually more of a suspense/mystery flick.

huh? That one specific officer seemed pretty intelligent to me. Otherwise, I pretty much think nazi's are brainless morons anyways.
Either way, I was disappointed with the movie when I was expecting a shootem up, kill the nazi's deal. But then I really appreciated it for the conversations. And especially how Quentin Tarantino can get you to hate someone a little more just by the way they eat.
I agree with Blizz, I like how the Nazies were betrayed as morons and stupid b@stards becuase they were and got off pretty easy after the war, they should of done experiments on them for the rest of their lives until they all died. The Pianoiest was a great movie. The Nazies were smart at the begining war wise but got too confident and Russia and U.S/etc. beat their @sses. I wish 1 of the A bombs could of hit Germany instead of using 2 on Japan, only fair since they started all the bullsh!t. Just my opinion, I hate seeing footage and reading about what the Nazie's did to the Jews and the DR. expeiraments they did to men, women and children. I could never imagine someone doing that to someone else and not having any emotions at all about doing it. Thats why I think the Nazies should have been all killed. Sorry for going off topic.

Holy god. Do you have any idea what you just said? Do you know history? Germany already surrendered before the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombs were completed.

Didn't know that, but I wish they could have hit them with a A- bomb, don't remeber too much history just what the Nazies did to the Jews, I thought they had a A-bomb before Germany surrrendered. My fault I can delete the post if you want?
