Hello Everybody!

New here and hoping to learn more about my beloved car (which I refuse to sell or give up).

My cousin made a 7 hour trip to help my poor car. She blew a gasket, but she's feeling a lot better now. After replacing the cylinder heads, she's driving better than ever--though I'm now hearing a ticking sound when I accelerate.

I'll be surfing the site to help me diagnose what could be bothering my little baby now.

For the ticking sound, does it go away after some driving? Is it only during start up or idling?

That ticking sound might be related to your timing. It could be lose too.

Welcome to the site, ticking sound is probably a exhaust leak since you just replaced the head gaskets, probably not TQ down right some where. Lets get some pics.
