Well.....I got laid off today

The dealership switched insurance companys and the new insurance company will not insure me to drive anything on or for the dealership because of my driving record :twak: the owner has been fighting them for 2 months to get me insured but it just wouldnt do it so they had to let me go. Tomorrow is my official day. So im just going to collect unemployment for a month or two and do my cam swap ;) then find a new job. Good thing I have a grand in the back right now lol.

Do you have another DD in case something goes wrong with the cam set up?

If I lost my job I would hold off on that and just wait till things pan out. Not bursting your bubble but just my 2 cents man.

oh yeah, and while you're keeping an eye on your spending --- do some easy cheap mods to keep the 'maro looking good without breaking bank.

yea he is a smart one, lol, also thinks a grand is going to go a long ways for him as savings too. Getting a job right now is extremely tough. I would be saving every penny right now to make it last as long as possible. Doing a cam swap is just dumb right now until you have another job in place and steady income.

Ive been out of work since Oct. I RARELY leave the apartment, and when I do, its either to the GF's house or back to Indy to see family and friends. I change the oil in my car, thats the extend of anything done to either of my two cars. I keep them clean. Other than that, Im sitting on money.
