this is kind off topic but does anyone know if a 2000 jetta is hubcentric or lugcentric? and if pretty much any 5x 100 rims would fit on it. long story short im getting rims off a calvalier to put on my girlfriends jetta for snow tires

Not sure what exactly you mean, but from what I can understand, the wheels on a VW wont work because I *believe* they use lugbolts instead of lugnuts.

why would this not make the wheels from a cavalier not fit a VW? The rim still has holes in it, so whether you put it on studs, or put lug bolts through the holes into the hub there, I dont see why that should make a difference?

I would think that as long as the bolt pattern and offset is the same, then it should not be an issue. As far as being hubcentric, I know there are plastic caps you can get to make the center fit tight with the hub.

The angle on the lip of the lugbolt may be different compared to the angle of the lugnut, due to the fact that the wheel is coming off a foreign car to a domestic. The wheel in turn will not seat properly, creating a wobble, and eventually breaking loose a stud on the Cavalier.

without seeing it I dunno, but I would think that you may be able to get a lugbut setup similar to that that I have on the Weld Wheels, one with a washer which should take care of any lips and spread the pressure out?
