Wow... what a game... Mid-way through the 1st, I figured Miller was going to have to make 50 saves to win the game. Turns out it "only" took 42. We'll see Canada again this year.

I know, he played awesome...and we took wayyy too many stupid penalties in the third.

We had awesome pressure going on in the last 2 minutes to, right up until that offside, and then I have no idea wtf Perry was thinking on that empty net goal...like how do you just leave the guy beside you like that in a foot race and not go for the puck? He could of easily made a quick feed to the other D-man and started a rush back up ice instead of leaving it to get thwacked in like that....but that was a helluva empty net goal...

I think that empty netter was one of the best plays I've seen this year.

The empty net goal was absurd. My roommate was taking a nap and I legitimately jumped and yelled "OH ****!!!"

Reminded me of 1980 when Jim Craig was getting peppered with shots and just stopping them all.

great game, it's hard for me to root against Sid, but the U.S. played great... it's crazy that this is the 30th anniversary of the "miracle" and the 50th anniversary of the last time the U.S. beat Canada...

The US has no cake-walk to the medal round either.
