Who else is watching the olympics? Some real good events going on. I never really watch skiing or any of that kinda thing, but some real intense competetion goin on.

And as usual, I am glued to the T.V watching all the hockey events I can see...little rattled that its 2-2 with switzerland right now...but damn they've been playing well this year...even you Americans just barely beat them, and it was close most of the game...

    Re: 2010 Olympics

I love the Olympics, but NBC makes it hard to watch, they squeeze as many commercials in as possible... I've seen them a couple times, cut people off midsentence to go to commercial, and then show one commercial, then come back barely in time to see the event... During the short track speed-skating 1/4finals with Apollo Ohno, the first half of the race was missed bc of commercial...

but yea, I love watching the Hockey, I'm cheering hard for the U.S., but I don't think they have a chance for Gold, I think that's going to come down to Canada and Russia, and I can't wait to see Crosby and Olvechkin on the ice at the same time... last year in the playoffs they were only on the ice at the same time for some 30 minutes in a 7 game series...

and who saw shaun white in the half-pipe??? it's hard to believe how much better one person is than everyone else in his sport!!! That 1260 at the end of his second run was amazing, and he had already clinched the Gold before even dropping in, if he'd pulled that off in his first run I think they would have just handed him a platinum medal and let the rest of the field fight for the other three bc otherwise it just wouldn't be fair... lol

Ya, shaun white was amazing, I seen it last night at the bar.

Canada's playin stupid against the swiss right now...I can't beleive its 2-2 with less the 12 minutes left in the 3rd...I'm actually unsure of the team this year to be honest.

i love the olympics and i agree that there are too many commercials but what can you do. it's too bad the us women didn't do better their second runs in the snowboard halfpipe but can't complain with silver and bronze.

I havent noticed a ridiculous amount of commercials...no ones been cut off while Ive been watching it...

lol...I was loving all the wipe outs in the skiing yesterday...some girl just ate snow not even 100ft out of the gate lol....some other girl got air lifted out after taking a bad spill and going flying into the fencing...and some other girl literally slid down half the mountain before being propelled off a little jump...I was convinced she was out cold until I saw her fly through the air wailing her arms lol

I kinda feel bad, but they were pretty funny when I was watching them...no doubt someone broke some bones...

                    Re: 2010 Olympics

Yeah I've been glued to the tv watching the olympics. Shaun White is amazing and such a good character. He's dedicated to the sport and shows a true passion for it, delivers to the fans (even though he doesn't have to cause he already won gold), and he's never cocky (even though he has all the right to be). This is how an professional athlete should be.

I hate how figure skating seems to takes up such a majority of the olympic air time. I'd rather they have curling on nbc, since I only get the local channels. Nothing cool about figure skating. Also sucks that I can't watch any of the hockey games. Ugh.. I need dish network!

Lol, well you better catch this sundays game, Canada at USA...730 pm my time...Hockey just started, so if you were looking for it before, thats why you werent finding it lol...it always starts late.

Russia just got upset by slovakia!!...I watched half of that game and it was good. Everyone has russia pretty much favoured to win it this year to...wow.

I never watch the figure skating, maybe 2-3 minutes of it tops, but I find it just too boring.

Womens hockey is nothing compared to mens, its just an entirely different game, but I do enjoy watching canada's women, and the US arent to bad either, but everyone else is just brutal more or less. Plus Meghan Agosta is fairly good lookin :D
