first I am going to get a few things done to the car that needs to be done. new dash, new tint and I have already added the keyless entry.
I use to have a 05 mustang v6. it seemed to have alot better throttle response and better handling. so my first task will be getting this car to what I expect it to do.
I'm not one to need a big stereo setup in my vehicles so I wont be changing the factory out. however there is never anything on the radio and I hate changing cd's out so I will be doing the mod to add the headphone jack to the factory unit.
my wife is the one who actually wanted this firebird though she was upset it didnt have a v8. we found it forsale for 2500 so I couldnt pass it up. I convinced her that we could make this car do what she wanted it to do and still get somewhat decent gas mileage. so, mods for performance are definately in the plans, just not sure what all i want to do yet.

start with the basics --- get it breathing better with some intake and exhaust work, then build up your bolt-ons and suspension to get the power to the ground more efficiently and increase handling.
what the heck steve! your cheating on me?!?! :slap:
I still have extra buttery flavored popcorn for you. LOL

Eh, be thankful you have a wife that will be supportive of mods on your car...most guys have to make up stories to get their mods...or come to some kinda comprimise...

There is a "whisper lid" for sale right now in the sale section of this board. It's a great way to get the bird breathing a little better and a good starter point. The lids are also hard as **** to find cause they aren't produced anymore.

My wife was cool with it the first 4 years then after my stroke it went down hill and her money train was over for the last 4 years. But I hope your wife stays cool with you and doesn't change. I did know this at the time but when I was in the Hospital 3rd day my wife would only come up and stay about 15 minutes and leave, she didn't work at the time either, one excuss was she had to go and get her nails done. My Mom stayed almost 18 hours a day the first 2 weeks , my Mom never told me she never stayed up there more than 15 minutes at a time, I was so drug up I never knew who was there and the nail story becuase she didn't want any problems, sorry for going off topic, I seem to do it alot. LOL
