Racing again!!!!!

Taking a roadtrip to Bowling Green to go racing on Saturday, and possibly US 41 on Sunday if the weather is good enough. Anyone else in the area gonna make it out? I'm taking my 1000RR to play around. I was starting to go stir crazy!!!

I've got it down to a blazing 12.0@129. It's been a few years, and I started late last summer. My 2 goals this weekend are 11's and 130+mph. An 04 RR in stock trim is only good for 10.20 to 10.50 with a decent rider. My main problem last year with it is that it sits too high in the saddle, I need to lower it to feel more comfortable. I have the links and a strap, but I need time to get those put on. If I could clip a 10.anything on it, I'd probably crap. Those low 10 second times are put up by flyweight riders. I'm 295 with out gear, probably around 315 in full leathers, boots, gloves, helmet.

300+ Lb rider, Your not gonna get into the 10's, Probably high 11's quickest.

Well.... The old adage of .1 off the 60' means .2 down track hopefully holds true. I'm only 60'ing around 2.8 to 3.0 range right now. If I could whack a 1.6, it should go low 10s. Hopefully around a 2.0 can get me to low 11's. I really would like to get consistent around 10.50 and run True Street at GLD, and 2wheelspeed at Byron.

Bowling Green what? We're not talking about Ohio right? Just looked it up. KY eh. I was about to say if there's a drag strip in BG ohio and I didn't know about it.. They've got tractor pulls. That's about it.

Have fun.. I need to figure out wtf is ticking in mine before I go to any dragstrip. Cross your fingers for an exhaust leak!

Oh yeah, after about 100' out, it feels like riding a missile. Tried launching harder and brought the front wheel up to an uncomfortable level.
