I got mine at Autozone. I've seen it at a couple other autoparts stores as well. Since you're in Canada though, I have no idea.

she's begging for some dark tint, a detail job, and a few "free mods" like the shaved lid and silencer delete until you're ready to hit the bolt ons. keep us posted!
While I'll admit my knowledge leans much more heavily towards camaro's than bird's I don't see a silencer in that pic

eh we have another canadian on here? and from 2006...where the hell have you been?

I actually haven't seen any of that black stuff around here...but there is a black type of polish/wax that turtle does make that I have seen at Canadian tire...I used it for a bit, it was alright...I'd be interested to try this stuff to if I can find it...or get it on ebay maybe...

                  Re: First F-Body!

Hey guys, sorry it took me so long to get back here, my hard drive crashed and I just got it back up and running. Those pics were right after I waxed and detailed the interior lol. I used eagle 1 nano wax cause I had it laying around, but I do not really like the look that came out and plan on using the black box next time. I am located in Dover De, but venture into southern Pa and NJ a lot and the easter shore of Md, so sorry no canadian here lol. Anyone else on here from De? I want to leave it all stock, even the orginal plugs and wires are on it until I run it at either Cecil or Delmar drag strips, then use tax refund money for borla exhaust and do the other free mods.

I do have one question though, whats the pcv mod? In all my searching I have not seen this one. Also does anyone have a spare front license plate cover laying around for the 98-02 birds? I hate that giant dimple up front.

Oh and as for the black box, we sell it at Autozone for I think like $20 bucks or so.

                    Re: First F-Body!

the pvc intake mod has a "how to" thread on here somewhere, i'll see if i can find it and link you. it's very simple and quite popular among those not able to find a lid yet.

basically what you're doing is snapping the "fins" out from the inside of your stock lid and shaving it down smooth to allow better flow, dropping in a k&n filter, removing the plastic air silencer (if you have one), and attaching a 3" pvc pipe to your shaved lid with rubber couplers to get a straight shot to the throttle body. works like a charm and you'll see gains.

My bad, I thought you said pcv not pvc lol. That is the only mod that was done to the car before I got it was to put a piece of pvc in the intake tube. Well that and the pedals. The FRA mod hasnt even been done yet. I also have a question for you guys, are these engines slow to rev up when in neutral? Ive got a v6 dakota and as soon as I tap the gas it is screaming for redline so it just seems weird that this motor takes so long too. Im guessing my stock exhaust and intake are slowing it down some. Oh and one more question, the oil pressure is just below the middle line, normal for these engines? Again I ask cause I've been into mopars before and mine have always had much higher oil pressure.
