Yesterday I got 65 bucks back from the city because they apparently had fines higher than the legal amount back in 2003-2006. I think it was in 2005 I got my first speeding ticket which cost me 100 bucks. So everyone that had a speeding ticket in Fargo within that time period got 65% back from what their ticket amount was.

Yeah... My "Prohibited Tire Noise" (accelerated around a corner at about 10mph and the tires squeaked over the cross-walk paint) ticket in '06 cost me about $1900 when all was said and done when I factored in ticket cost plus insurance increase. It does not pay to get any tickets.
