Who all is ready for drag racing?? First event here at Gateway is in a couple weeks, and I will be going to at least the Midnight Madness on the 26th. It's gonna be awesome after not being able to get to the track all winter.

I'd love to get my car out and get some better times this year. Hopefully I'll have time this summer to install my heads and rockers.
I'm also going to take the Buick to the track to see what it can do :P

I can't wait for the track to open back up...we don't open until sometime in May though...

Summer tires are going on tuesday if the weather is nice like it says it will :drool:

what kind of buick? My uncle who used to work at Gateway and still has plenty of connections raced his lucerne or watever and midnight madness and ran 18's or 19's haha. We did get to go up in the announcers booth for a little bit. Awesome View of the track.

'95 Park Ave. Ultra (supercharged). I think it's capable of low 15's assuming I can get a good launch, which considering 215 touring tires and FWD, I won't. But definitely expecting 15s of some sort.

edit; That massive online stock vehicle 1/4 mile time list says a 94 will do it in 15.5, so if I can get around that I'll be happy.

No mods other than minor visual and a sound system. I'd like to swap a smaller pulley on it, but other than that, it'd my DD so I need it to stay reliable.

good point. Smaller pulley would help some but If it's your DD then best to leave it alone probably.

yea after my last incident drag racing where my K&N intake sucked itself in.....im not dragging again hahah but i will be there to ride along in fast *** cars and watch!

The Gator Nationals was last weekend, so now Gainesville will be open for regular test and tune and the points season starts soon. My project this week is to get the car track ready.
Got a few things on the to-do list...
