  • New member (to some)

Hey, I'm also a member on F-body Online so I've seen a few familiar names. Anyways, I have a 2000 Camaro with 85k miles on it. I haven't done too much to it, in terms of performance; just some bolt ons. Anyways, I hope to get some good insight from here and I'll leave you with some pics.

nice ride man, love the color :D 3M Mafia ftw!

diggin' the grille, berger, and borla setup --- some niteshades on the corners and tails to go with that tint and blackout rims would look really nice.

what bolt ons are you running so far? plans for the car?

Thanks for the compliment! I intend to nightshade the turn and reverse signals but am going to leave the brake lights alone for safety.

As of now I have a whisper lid, pacesetter headers running true duals in to magnaflow hi-flow cats and 2 Borla XR-1's. I also just swapped out my wires for some 8.5mm MSD and NGK TR55 plugs. As far as future plans go I don't really have any. I'd love to break in to the 14's in the 1/4 (Best run was 15.3 at 3200 D.A.)

true duals with borla xr1s? do you have a sound clip somewhere?

Got some pics of the set up?

        Nice ride man.

sounds great man --- baller approved  borla takes all.

some e-cutouts before the muffler would make that thing monsterous *hint hint*

save lots of pennies lol. definitely worth every one of them.

OP- any thoughts on working on your suspension? some springs would give you a killer stance.

I've considered getting cut-outs but I'm afraid of getting a raspy tone with them. And as far as the springs go I can't really lower my car all that much since I lost about a good 1.5" with the exhaust set up.

i've got my cutout right before the rear axle before my borla muffler and it sounds great --- almost no rasp and is very deep. i have to convince ppl on a regular basis that i'm not ls1 haha. electric cutouts would be nice because you can always open or close them to your liking --- i love the sound so i leave mine open, but at any time i can flip the switch and close it.

even without, your exhaust setup sounds fantastic tho.

i am debating rims or borla (also depends if parent will let mess with the exhaust anymore)

OP: sorry i for got to tell you your car looks/sounds very nice. also, is that a meteor shower in those pics? or how did you do that?

Thanks! And it's just multiple long exposures merged together.

sounds beastly, and hey running one single borla xr1 isn't garbage lol.
