Radial tires should NOT be allowed in a burnout contest. I have seen almost as bad as this before.

I had a 77 Bird with bias ply tires, some old Hoosier dirt track tires. I blew out both. I was going to do a rolling burnout and as soon as I let off the brake, the right tire blew and as soon as I left of the gas, the left tire blew. Wish I had videos of this. No damage to the car.

This is why you shouldn't do open diff burnouts. When one tire is spinning, and the other is not, the diff doubles the speed of the spinning tire. So if the speedo says the MPH is 80, the tire is turning 160 MPH. Causes epic tire failure from over speed of a low speed rated tire. If you notice, the tire was not even close to being bald, or worn out. I think it just failed from over-speed.

Just something to keep in mind.

well the biggest fail of this is that he didnt have a posi lol but he shifted to 3rd gear that right there is just dumb its burn out competion you are suposed to see how long u can go for dont try and burn them off faster. but hes just a dumb redneck
