I think Calipari is over-rated, more-so than the team... bc they did have alot of talented players, but it's up to the coach to get them to play as a team... Which they never really did...
Rebuilding the engine... Building a custom front end... T-top conversion... Custom rear hatch..
Custom interior...
yes they were. all that talent and they didnt win it all.
One bad game? Please.....WV had the best game of their season, and Kentucky had their worst. Were they the best team this year, no, that title belongs to Duke, but they were FAR FAR FAR from overrated. Thats just the way the tournament is.

And yet still won all but 3 games. They had to be doing SOMETHING right, there's no denying that at all. Calipari will bring in more talent, like the No. 1 recruit in the nation right now, and they'll be competitive again. And as of now, 5 players from this years Kentucky team have chosen to go into the NBA draft.
DeMarcus Cousins
Patrick Patterson
Eric Bledsoe
Daniel Orton
And the projected No. 1 overall pick, John Wall.
Good thing is, we'll pick up talent this year due to Calipari's ability to recruit and coach. And you're not an overrated coach if you can take teams like Memphis and UMASS and bring them to NCAA fame. Whatever he did to get Memphis suspended is beyond the realm of what he would do to Kentucky, too many eyes watching. They wont risk what happened to Kentucky in the late 80's early 90's again with another coach. He'll play on the straight and narrow this time.

There are possibly a handful or less teams that might pick Turner over Wall, but right now, everyone across the NBA is saying John Wall. But for ****s and giggles, I'll take you up on your bet. On June 24th, make sure you paypal the $10 to mogobs30th@yahoo.com.
This is why I stopped rooting for the Bucks... every descent player leaves for the NBA... there's no point in being faithful to one school anymore
Well, lets be honest here, these guys could stay for 4 years, and then end up doing the same thing as they would 3 years earlier. If they're NBA material, then there's no sense holding them up. I am glad though that they now have to do atleast one year in college.

He's obviously a great recruiter... but with as much talent as he has to work with, I've never really felt as if they came together... they play "playground ball" alot...

Well, remember they were mostly freshman/sophomores. If they were to have stick around for 3 more years, they would have easily won a championship. They made mistakes, no doubt about that, but I blame that more on youth than I do on not working together as a team.

I can't really blame them, but that's why I liked Butler this year, and last year I rooted hard for PITT b/c they started 4 seniors... but then Dejuan Blair left after his Sophomore season. It just annoys me, but its their lives, the can do whatever they want... I honestly don't like the one and done rule... if they're ready for the NBA out of high school, then let em go, that way College teams like UK wouldn't be drastically different each year...

True, four of the players leaving for the NBA are freshman, and the other is a Junior... all leaving early... lol

Yeah, Patterson is the Junior, Kentucky was fortunate to keep him another year, he was going to go last year, but Calipari managed to talk him into another year. But again, Im still a Kentucky fan, have been for a long time when it comes to college ball. With the recruits they have coming in, I don't think they'll have any problem next year.
