Wes, I'm going out to work on it Wednesday night. It's at the farm in Pingree Grove, basically 47 and 90, just south of Huntley. Should be around 30 mins from your area. You're more than welcome to join. My guy is already working on it. I bought it as a non-runner, 99 Camaro, V6, Y87. He tried getting it started today, and it's metal on metal. As always, you can get dibs on parts for helping! We are gutting it, stripping it, hole sawing it, and throwing my LS1 from the Trans Am in it. Hopefully should be a quick swap. If you have some spare wheels laying around, let me know.

Been trailer shopping myself lately, but I just can't justify the price of the Featherlites. Sure, the light weight is nice, but my truck has no problem pulling the weight, so I'm fine with a steel trailer for a third of the price.

I don't have any spare wheels here. I *MIGHT* have one or two in Indy. Im actually in Justice now, moved here in Dec. Had to get out of Schaumburg. But, if you PM me the addy, I can be there Wednesday with tools in hand, and help with the swap. I seriously need to get out of the house for a few hours, so this is a great opportunity to do so. PM me that addy, and I can be there Wednesday.

Need some wheels and tires to let it sit on for a couple days. I sold the wheels off the donor car last fall. The camaro has good wheels and tires, gonna pull those to get the donor on the trailer saturday. Even an extra spare would help.

The prize is a mushroom stamp, applied directly to the forehead. Featherlite might be 3x more than steel, but it's never gonna rust, is warrantied (bought it brand new), and can handle me and my buddies using it. A friend of mine bought a wood decked steel trailer, and it's been nothing but a nightmare. Lightweight LS1 cars with skinnies on the front have gone through the decking, and it scraped the hell out of the front of my SOM WS6 last year, almost lost a ramp driving through Milwaukee, during rush hour. I HATE that trailer. Anyone wanna buy my enclosed?

Ah, gotcha. I'll give you the addy to my office in Schaumburg. We can meet up there, and continue on. Should be another couple guys going. I didn't think I would get any help with this one, it's really nice to see people willing to lend a hand. No worries on the wheels/tires, I'll figure something out.
