Does anyone know where I could download a version of Final Cut Pro for Mac computers without having to pay like the $2,000 dollars?

Great editing software however, if you have never used it before I can assure you that you may be overwhelmed.
To answer your question, no I don't know of a magical free download site. Have you considered purchasing a used Mac with FCP already installed? Also, put an ad in Milwaukee and Madison Craigslist and maybe you will find someone with the software who will sell you a copy on the cheap.

Are you a college student? Check at your University library. Sometimes they have student versions that you can get from them cheap, or even free...

Be careful with free online downloads...I downloaded a "reputable" cracked version of CS3 that was nothing but problems. I ended up buying a CS4 academic version...saved loads of cash and trouble free.

Adobe has a 30 day free trial of Premiere. Use that.
