is anyone in the airforce? some guy in my class gave a speech on them and said they make $1500/2 weeks with only a hs diploma or ged and 2500-3000 with a 2 year degree, are those numbers right? oh and im a college student and i work at kmart, i hate it there FML lol

I have no idea where they got those numbers Even as an officer (4 year degree) and almost 3 years active duty I dont even make $2500 every 2 weeks even with all my allowances and flight pay. Do a Google search for "military pay chart".
Long Term Disabilty from the County, worked as a State Corrections Officer for 7 years, 4 years Pysch Tech and 1 year Police before having a stroke, money isn't too bad even at 66 1/3 rd pay, still take home about $3000 a month with full medical and is tax free. Been off for 4 years and hope to have my surgeries with my new insurance since they will cover the surgeries, off until 2014 or less maybe more depending on the surgeries.

damn i wonder where he got those numbers from....im going into engineering but not really something i want to do; im mostly doing it because of my dad pressuring me to go into something "respectable." i wouldnt mind spending my life working on cars, i enjoy it.
