    Exactly what I was thinking.

Also, I wonder why neighborhoods with streets that wide have no kind of lane designations painted. Even just a white line down the middle would help traffic flow and more easily determine who is at fault in accidents like this. Honestly I'd be freaked out for the sake of my car every time I drove down a street like that lol

Anyway, be glad of two things: she didn't hit-&-run, and your ride isn't totaled. I thought for sure it was done for after I read your first post. GL dealing with your insurance company :work:

Don't you know he shouldn't have been in her way on the correct side of the road.

Some people will not accept responsibility for anything.

There ain't nothing worst than a car pack full of high school kids with loud music on public roads. She probably did it on purpose.

          ^thats retarded.

Ya for the most part women should not drive.

BUTT and I say BUT in all capitals, it is not because they are bad drivers, not all of them are bad drivers. Some do not understand Physics, like how to drive different in different weather.

Some do not do any maintaince, like tire pressure or anything, so their cars pull steer and what not in all directions or how ever it may be.

Then there is the woman that is on the phone, doing her hair or makeup, or texting.

You are an idiot.... please don't have kids.

Sorry about the smashed car. Did you go to the hospital? It may be a very good idea to get checked out - you may have injuries that you are unaware of. I sustained several herniated, torn, ruptured disc's from two accidents.

damn man that sucks and yeah getting in an accident will ruin like your whole week.

when i got hit the body shop insisted on using all GM parts they said aftermarket stuff was garbage and the insurance company has to pay for good parts.

as far as aftermarket stuff goes all that got broken on my car was the center cap on my rim and i had to go and find and buy a new one myself. but it was only 10 dollars so i diddnt really care.
you have quite a bit more money in broken aftermarket stuff.

It's really amazing. IRL 90% of guys say women are bad drivers, but if you go on the internet it's the exact opposite. On the 'net it's more like 1 guy will say it and 5 guys will flame him.

Whatever. I know who I'm listening to.

                        :D

I should've gotten some video of my little night cruise tonight. Full moon, smooth pavement, and 60* weather made for the perfect drive on my favorite backroad. Sometimes it's hard not to hit those corners at double the recommended speed. :P

Hell, I'll even throw this out there... for all four of the accidents and incidents my car has been involved in, every one of the drivers of the other vehicle was at fault and was male. To make matters worse, my car was either parked out of the way or sitting perfectly still in traffic each and every time. Of those, two were not paying attention while driving (either texting or not paying attention to traffic), one backed up without looking behind his truck or in his mirrors, and another was just being careless about other people's property.

haha exactly, what was i thinking minding my own business on the right side of the road --- she clearly needed both sides. but yeah, you nailed it on the head, this is my baby and she deserves to be built back stronger, faster, and prettier than before.

i appreciate the concern man, but no i didn't go to get checked out. the impact was a bit jarring, but i felt no bodily harm from it. unfortunately, i've actually been in my share of accidents as a passenger and always seem to be okay without any injury, but i definitely would've gotten checked out if i were unsure. i can't really say if i'm sore from anything because i was already sore from working out this week before the accident, so things seem normal and not any additional pain. i do have some sustained nerve damage in my neck from a bad accident as a freshman in college, it still hurts to this day when i lift weights in certain ways.

yeah man i hear ya! it's an uncommon color and a beautiful factory paint job at that, so i'm a bit nervous about matching it. nearly everything on my driver side will need paint from front to back, so i hope the passenger side doesn't look off in comparison. this wasn't exactly the way i planned to touch up my paint haha

on a side note, as much as i would love to rant about women drivers, it's not fair to say this was because it was a girl. this was a matter of inexperienced youth and irresponsible driving (texting, not paying attention, speeding around turns in a neighborhood, etc), and my misfortune. i've trusted girls to drive the 'maro, and i know many fantastic female drivers including my gf, friends, and my mother. but, the fact that an adolescent, braces wearing highschool girl could destroy years of my hard work and money in seconds does bother me of course. somewhere in this experience i'm hoping to find the silver lining.

i appreciate everyone's concern, thoughts, and wishes. it means a lot that i can come here and have you guys to support me, and your condolences for the injured 'maro certainly help. thank you.

Actually there are women here who are smoking our hinnies. Like Shirl, Pathogen, and Tease who are in the 11 sec. category.
