It's a 455 Poncho stroked .040 with a 6.800 (6.625 is stock) rod and .035 over. The rotating assy is from OHIO Crank, and uses a BBC rod bearing. Makes it a 468. Edelbrock aluminum heads (out of the box) with the valve springs changed to run a Bullet Cams solid roller. If I remember right, it's about .618 lift and 250i and 260e duration. TH400 with a Trans Specialties 9" convertor with a 4.10 10 bolt rear end that has ladder bars aand QA1 coil over shocks. Weighs about 3250 with me in it and has been a best of 10.52 in the 1/4 with a 1.42 60' time.

Here is a diffeent pass. You can see how far I am past the starting line. Thaat is my wife next to me. This is our first time trial of the day.

I only have them on the rear. They are double adjustable. I honestly don't remember, I seems that I have a turn on the compression and 1/2 turn on the extension. The have 3 turns and each turn is 8 clicks. That's something like 256 ways you can screw it up :).

Mine is the white 68 Firebird. My wife has the blue 71 Camaro with the unpainted fiberglass frontend in the right lane. I was running 6.80's and she was running 6.90's in the 1/8 that day.

haha, the older 10 bolts could hold up to a lot of stuff.. the 7.625" rears we got are junk IMO

I'm assuming you have a 8.5 ten bolt right? I don't think the 8.2's will last under that much load.
