Just checked the vin on my GTO. I'm 1 of 5 built in 2006 with the exact options.
Someone once told me that I'm 1 of 390 built with the same exterior color, same interior color, wheels, and 6-speed transmission. The rims in the picture below are not stock.
All those cars are rare, less than 40,000 made and imported over 3yrs.
I have seen White T-Top,White Vert,White HT all TA's and a Black HT and T-Top TA with the Red Int.
ive seen 2, one was a 96 t-top in red and one was a 95 formula vert in red. have yet to come across another hardtop in red.
ive been to teh T/A nationals for the past 10 years or so and its usually 5-600 trans ams and firebirds every year and i have yet to come across another.
current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it
mine is pretty rare (1 of 550 red leather option) but it means jack ****. just a conversation peice to me and thats about it anymore.
my neighbor a few years back had a 96 red on red hardtop... pretty sick car except for it being broke down all the damn time... haha

I know mine was one of the first 3800's with a 5 speed, before that they only had A4's. Bought mine in Dec. 95. But its not like it was a rare car, now I consider it rare with all the work I have done to it over 14 years. Van, I'll give ya $501. LOL

J/K a friend always used to say that to me about my 94 TA that like to crap out all the time:o
I once saw a 94 Firebird SCE (Southern Calif. Edition) over 10 years ago. It has a raised up spoiler (no that the same as the TA) and halogen lights at the front. I asked the owner about it and he said it's a rare Firebird. I didn't ask him as to what so special about it. Back then I wasn't really into 4th gen. I was more of a 3rd gen guy.
My 89 was a Firebird XS. Very few were made. This was more like another option car for people to choose from. It's suppose to be a step up from the base model. It has better suspension and steering.
Btw.. GTO will eventually become the rarest car there is. I hardly see any of them. The ones I do see are in mint condition.
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
