  • i live an amazing life

just wanted to share with you all....

i know i haven't been on much anymore. i usually get on when i'm at work. but i decided for the time being to leave work an hour early each day to spend a little more time with my amazing son who will be 7 months on the 8th. time really flies. he's be best thing that has ever happened to me. here i was thinking since i was 19 that i could never love anything as much as my camaro....and i haven't even had her out since last sept, when my belly was finally to big to fit behind the wheel.

but now that gabriel is a little order and can play in a jumper...i've moved it out to the garage so mommy can play to:banana:

as many of you know i've taken a few mods of my camaro, line lock, electric water pump, torque arm, panhard rod, and alum driveshaft. so my logic rolled into place

i have my ds, tor arm off....why not drop my tranny to see why it gets hard to shift..... so thats what i've been doing

took off my panhard, torque arm, line lock, electric water pump, driveshaft, tranny, clutch, flywheel. pulled my pilot bushing.

put in a new pilot bushing, put back on the the fly wheel, installed a new breakline, new water pump, put on a new tranny mount, rewired up a few things. and installed a stock panhard

all with in a few day since i can only work 30-45 mins at a time. (while the baby naps) and remember i work full time.

now i still have to wait for my clutch alig. tool to arrive (tomorrow) put back on my clutch. put the tranny back, install driveshaft, torque arm, bleed breaklines, put on a new belt, and mount new tires.

i will have her back on the road by may 14th. that my goal and i willlll reach it.(i take my son into philly everyday with me. daddy will be staying home with gabe that day...so mommy doesn't need the malibu....as long as it doesn't rain.)

i can only take the car to work(45 min -55 mins each way) when my husband stays home with gabe.....oh well. of the rare moments i choose to leave him.

    i'm living THE LIFE.

family+car=me being happier than ever before.

*i dont proof read, take it for what it is*

    :] +1

It would be foolish to tell a girl that happiness doesn't come with from her family. I am happy to see that you do have a complete family. Then you add a sportscar...

I've seen to many of my friends 'error on their timing' for starting and family and it all crumbles. Its horrible to watch, and I'm only 19!! Good to see a very good change in the normal!

Its funny how the little ones change your life. I rarely have time to work on my cars. I spend all my free time finishing a play room in my basement. My camaros are taking a back seat to normal daily life. My sons car seat doesn't fit in the back of my 96RS, so I can only drive the car when i don't have to pick him up from daycare which is once in a blue moon. I put maybe 1500-2000 miles on it a year. Now I'm deciding whether its worth it to keep the car. It was my first new car and I wanted to keep it forever. I eventually wanted to turn it into a street/stripe car when my son got older. Thats a long time from now and I'm not sure I want to hold on to it for another 10 years paying for insurance, taxes, and to maintain it. Not to mention I could really use that spot in the garage for alot of other things especially Nates toys. Funny how the little ones can change your perspective on things. I'll never sell the 69 camaro though. My son already claimed that car.
