one of my friends just bought his first subaru to beat up its an 00 outback and he is just doing a basic tune up i know each car likes its own plug do you know if he should get Denso or NGK copper or platinum?

I've heard that the best thing to do for a Subaru engine is, when it is time for an oil change, to drain out the oil and drive it for like 10 miles with the drain plug out. Then, fill it back up with oil.
Subarus have a special system that lubricates the engine for 15 miles even on empty. Driving with the drain plug out assures you will get all of the contaminated old oil completely drained out before you put in new oil.I solemnly swear I am up to no good.
