I sold my 92 Suzuki Katana yesterday and bought a 2009 Yamaha R6 on wednesday. I'm now in love. Now if only this rain would go away so I could do more than just stare at it in the garage. Pictures to come once I find some time... Possibly tonight when I get home from work.
Edit: Its hard to take a good picture in the garage, but here it is..
I never owned a Yamaha Bike. I started with a Katana 750, then went to a GSX-R 750 and then an 1100 (years ago, when I was single). I have friends that say that the Yamaha R6 and CBR600RR are about the same ride quality. I wouldn't know because I no longer own any bikes. :(
Damn thats a 92?! It looks freakin great! How much did you pay if you dont mind sharing?
Oh, and I paid 6600 for it. Its in mint condition, 1600 miles, lowered a bit (which is perfect cause I'm only 5' 8" so I'd be on my toes otherwise), rear integrated led signals, front led signals, carbon tank pad, bruce fabrication customs exhaust pipe, frame sliders, and an undertail kit. It was pretty much the exact bike I was looking for with some nice extras.
