The 00' is the flat front end , his add is a 2000 and then in the description it says 1999 and the 06' is the more aero dynamic, I'm calling him today to go take a look and take a ride in it and scan it with Hptuners. I'll post some pics of it: Its a Silverado , I thought it was a GMC , my mistake.

I talked to the guy and he will go down $4500 and if I get my own replacement rims $4000 , which I found a 16" ALM. 2000 set for $125 which I will try to get for $100. Will see. It actually is a 99' with so I emailed Hptuners to see if I can use a 2000 PCM in it so i can use my Hptuners, on their site it has 99'-03' for the trucks so I hope I can.

I thought you said it was a GMC? That has the 03-07 Chevy front end and tail lights. That's why I was confused. GMC didn't change from 99-07.

I'd still go for it. Seems like a pretty decent deal. If I could have found something similar, I wouldn't have bought the '10.

I'm going to car fax it, then go and take a look at it and drive it. I know I can always just prime the truck black all of it for $500 to get it one color then have it painted GM black later on. I found a nice black interior for it also for pretty cheap and the dash is already black. I found a guy selling 17" 07' rims with new tires , trying to get them for $400. I just want it so I can do some work on the Camaro and finish it up with the heads/intakes, MLS gaskets double roller, deep tranny pan, front 98+ brakes/steel lines and turbo etc. all installed while having a dependable truck to drive. I will be having a empty garage to work on it again here soon.

Dude, it's a used truck. Just drive it as is for a couple months to make sure it's solid, and isn't gonna need a major repair.

I know its used , but its suppose to have a newer 5.3 engine and trans with 40,000 miles on it, my only concern is the rear end and how the suspension is, other than gettting stock rims and a 2000 PCM for me to use my HPtuners on it , I will not be putting any money into it for about a year.

Re: Worth it or not? 87' Toyota Supra

87 Supras were notorious rust buckets plus lots of pop-up headlight failures.

Maybe in AZ, it avoided rust, but check for Bondo anyway.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.
