Haha, I saw a riced out one of those recently in Dallas. Silver and sky blue with 18" wheels and a body kit. It was hysterical to see a wigger driving it.
I ate a bowl of fail this morning.

in terms of dream cars... you really were shooting low werent you?
lets not act as if owning a fbody is shooting for the sky here. its not like being associated with the words white trash, hillbilly, redneck, trailer park, nascar, roach clips and mullets is a high selling point to people on our own cars. its not like the guy is buying a goddamn prius that runs on smugness.

but a saleen s7 is my dream car.... f-body is my favorite muscle car
There's a lot of hate against those little cars. I'm curious how many on here have actually ever driven one or had their *** handed to them on the backroads by one. So what if they've got a bad stigma... last I checked, having a V6 F-body doesn't seem to get much positive attention either. Miata's are lighter and handle way better than any F-body can ever do. My only concern with them is getting run over by some ignorant SUV or a fatass modern sports boat.
I'd take a 6 speed Miata and slap a Rotrex supercharger on it in no time if I had the chance.

Yes, but I was looking at that from a performance or motorsports kind of view. Rather than the typical vaginal response of "Aww... it's so cute and fits all my cute lil things".
But whatever.

Exactly. Turbo/supercharged Miatas are insanely fast. I know someone who makes Monster Miata conversions with both the 5.0, and the LS1. Granted, it costs a lot more than a rotary swap because it involves rebuilding the entire drivetrain from the ground up. The hardest part about a rotary swap is making the motor mounts. So why spend more when you can have the same amount of power and have a lighter car? I also see that they have to lift the Miata further up from the ground just to get the V8 in there. You do the exact opposite with the rotary because it's an eccentric shaft engine, rather than a crank shaft.
