Indy looks like a fun race to watch! Might just buzz in on that.
Its better to go to than to watch on TV. This will be 24 years out there, and my 17th race, first being in 1992.
That's too much dedication. Couldn't you just get a sticker instead of being a billboard for them? LOL.
This logo is being changed over, and has started to be changed over for the centennial celebration era. From what I have seen and heard so far, everything with this logo was sold off in December of last year, to make way for this logo....(sorry, its a little large)
I wanted this logo because its what I remember, its what I have seen growing up at the place. And I have too many of the new stickers now, need a few more actually of the old logo, which they no longer sell.
This is the first time I've seen your bird. You should take more pics.
Going to try to get a few pics of me on the track today, Community Day. They let you take your passenger car around one time, although there are speed restrictions and police in every turn to enforce it.
damn that's a lot of ink --- ur definitely a balls to the wall kinda guy haha.
Nice ink work, are you gonna get the flags colored in?
This was 3 1/2 hours work right there, to color it in appropriately will take another 6-7 hours, which I don't have at the moment. The shop is in Indianapolis, and I won't be back here till some time in July, so Im going to wait till then to get it colored. They did a good job on it, still healing a little right now, but its not too bad. I got this done after drinking all day at the track on a practice day, had to sober up to go, so I was dead tired when I walked in. It didn't hurt, felt like getting a small shock with a low voltage current more or less, and Im used to that. Only the top checker in the flag was a bit aggravating. I took a 30 minute nap when he was doing the wings.
I've seen the bird before, but not for a long time. glad to see it up & about
I don't mind driving the bird, but I don't like racking the miles up on it. I should have had the Monte back by now, but the guy at the shop doesn't want to touch it, considering taking it somewhere else. The Bird doesn't do heat well, and it was dirty in that pic. Not to mention, the wheels on there are filthy and cannot be cleaned without some good buffing and polishing to remove the oxidation on the aluminum, so I only take rear and front shots.
Reminds me of that part of 40 year old virgin.... You know how I know you're gay? Well....
My dads friend said the same thing....;)
