  • become a mod?

just wanted to get some insight from the vets around here about how, if possible, to become a mod. is there a certain amount of time or activity you need to have under the belt or is it just up to board discretion? i'm really interested in becoming or helping out in the intake/exhaust forum here, it's one of the areas i have a good amount of experience and research with and usually lend advice or comment on.

throwin it out there, lemme know guys. thanks.

    Re: become a mod?

Every now and then in the website stuff or staff section this is brought up.

Since the site isnt really active anymore they wont be changing anything for awhile im sure.
its been two years probably since the last time they changed things up with mods.

    So,............ Dont hold your breathe

      Re: become a mod?

PM Steve or Robert and bring to his attention the need for a mod in the section you're interested in and why you think you're qualified for the position. Steve (TealV6) is the forum owner and has more control over the forum portion of the site, but Robert (FirebirdGT) is more active and seems to be in better contact with Steve than most. I went through Robert to get the Appearance mod spot.

I don't think anyone ever really got back with him with actual answers to his questions, though... at least not in that thread....

No, you're right, they didn't respond to the thread, but Robert said (from said thread):
