Mdenz- what's the scoop on the build- it's been two years? what kind of racing and what are the numbers on the motor?
The car did very well at Daytona, ran a best time of 2:21.8 on the rolex course with a top speed of 134mph. Unfortunately all the video is really shaky and I haven't got the pictures back from the photographers yet.
There was some minor carnage though, destroyed the #3 spark plug:

Homemade tubing notcher worked awesome. $10 Lowes 1.75" hole saw an easy custom arbor to mount it in the Bridgeport, an I have a tubing notcher that can do angles and works better than most expensive units.
I was a solid second faster than my friend's Boxster all weekend. The rolex course at Daytona is strictly a power track, even with that There was a Cayman S, C5 Z06 and GT500 that I was able to pass as they weren't being driven anywhere near their potential.
